Desired credentials include:
- Registration as a Behaviour Support Practitioner at proficient level
- Training in Positive Behaviour Support or equivalent substantial evidenced experience
- Experience working with or supporting people with a disability across age ranges
- Desired: qualifications in Positive Behaviour Support
- Desired: registration as a healthcare professional/Clinician (e.g., AHPRA registration, AASW, Speech Pathology, etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook) and experience using paperless systems
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills
- Strong ability to follow legislative requirements, policy and procedures and meet contractual obligations
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport and establish strong relationships with clients, stakeholders and the Positive Shift team
- A proactive attitude with passion for working with and for neurodivergents
- A driver’s licence and own vehicle with insurance
- NDIS Worker’s Screening Check and Blue Card
- Ongoing commitment to professional development and learning
