A cognitive assessment is used to measure a person’s cognitive abilities, including memory, attention, problem-solving skills, and language proficiency. This assessment provides an overview of the person’s strengths and weaknesses in cognitive functioning, and how they impact learning and processing of information. It can also be used to diagnose an intellectual disability, as well as provide evidence for additional support.
